DogTreff New York is dedicated to providing high-quality dog training in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. We support dogs and their owners in building strong, respectful relationships through training that encourages teamwork, confidence, and enjoyment. Our programs offer opportunities for both personal growth and competitive achievement, while recognizing the abilities of each handler and dog.
We proudly welcome individuals and families of all ages and abilities, including those with disabilities, and strive to make the sport and training experience accessible, positive, and rewarding for everyone.
Wilhelm Lipp
Training Director
Wilhelm Lipp is a German Shepherd Dog Club of America (GSDCA) Trial and Conformation Judge, Character Test Evaluator, and former GSDCA Breed Warden. Since 2005, he has also been a certified Breed Warden with the SV (Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde) in Germany.
He has been actively involved with the SV since 1990 as a breeder, handler, and competitor. Beginning in 1995, Wilhelm worked as a protection dog trainer and training supervisor and is a certified GSDCA Teaching Helper. He has extensive experience mentoring and training young handlers.
Throughout his career, Wilhelm personally trained and handled more than 20 dogs at the German Sieger Show. He has individually trained and titled over 35 German Shepherd Dogs to Schutzhund levels 1, 2, and 3. As a Training Supervisor, he has overseen the training and competition of more than 150 dogs.
